The Able Bake House, a social enterprise supported by Melba Support services, will be holding a High Tea at the Mt Evelyn Pubic Hall on Thursday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm.
The menu will be prepared by Angela from the first series of The Great Australian Bake Off, and will include delicious treats like vanilla bean butter cakes; ribbon sandwiches; brownie; berry blonde slice and of course a variety of scones.
Running alongside the High Tea will be an art show from local artists who participate in the ‘Free Range Art’, ‘Melba All Abilities Art Class’ and ‘Sandy Dare – Find your artistic passion’ groups held at the Mt Evelyn Community House. The feature is two peacock artworks, a joint project by the three art groups, a symbol of integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colours.
One of the peacocks will be raffled, the other will be used as an ongoing display, moving between Melba Support Services and the Mt Evelyn Community House.
Tickets for the High Tea are $30 each and can be purchased from Mt Evelyn Community House, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Raffle tickets are $2 or 3 for $5 and can be purchased from the Mt Evelyn Community House or at the High Tea.
