There’s a new exhibition at Holy Grill this month, featuring the bright colourful artworks of local artist Frances Phelan. Her writing is also on show with some short pieces she has written over the years available to read alongside her artworks.
Frances has attended lessons at Kevin Boucher’s Studio in Mount Evelyn, as well as taking part in various short courses to enhance her writing and poetry skills.
“I have enjoyed taking art classes since 2008. In 2013 I began painting on a more regular basis. I love to create bright abstract art often similar to the Fauvism Movement. (Matisse).” said Frances Phelan.
